New Music Plus…

New Music Plus… is a professional development programme which aims to strengthen leadership skills and cross art-form learning amongst organisations and independent producers that want to develop their approach to programming new music.

Developed in partnership with the PRS for Music Foundation, our 2010 North West programme is focused on Manchester and Liverpool. This year, the eight selected producers are working with Band on the Wall, Contact, Cornerhouse and Whitworth Gallery in Manchester, and the Biennial, the Bluecoat, FACT, National Museums of Liverpool, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Tate in Liverpool. • A creative circle learning network involving both the producers and the organisations
• Mentoring support
• A development bursary, including support for international networking
• A co-production placement with one of our ‘host’ organisations

Our NMP host organisations benefit from:
• The opportunity to work with their ‘resident’ independent producer
• Establishing wider connections with other NMP…producers
• A creative circle learning network involving both the producers and the organisations
