We were pleased to be invited to the South-West to design and implement this interactive course for Arts Matrix. Adam and Wendy spent the day in Bristol with a diverse range of talented artists, craftspeople and arts managers for a day of training on how and what it means to be working internationally.

It was targeted at those wishing to start or develop international arts projects and provided a comprehensive overview of how international working, including touring and marketing, can be initiated, developed and sustained, with a particular focus on Europe

It is delivered as a one-day course and designed to give an unparalleled insight into how English creative businesses “go international” together with case studies and practical information on sources of funding and support. It gives a unique overview, insight into current practice and provides a list of useful “Do’s” and “Don’t” when working internationally.

This course is interactive and is presented by experienced practitioners who have undertaken work with foreign partners in the UK and overseas and are currently engaged on a variety of international projects. We use a range of training styles including presentations, case studies, invited speakers, group discussion and individual work in order that delegates get the most out of the day.
